Helping a young single mom
Nisa is a 21 year old single mom of 2 young children, an orphan and an abused woman. We are currently supporting Nisa and her children, Nivea and Stephan, until she gets on her feet.

I grew up in Portugal (Sao Miguel), and as a kid I remember being so out this world excited to see a barrel sitting in my grandmother's kitchen... a barrel that had travelled all the way from Canada to us in a little island.
ReplyDeleteThe barrel was sent from our family in living in Toronto filled with handed down clothing from our cousins. I felt so loved, and yet had never met these relatives. I can somewhat relate to what Nisa must have been feeling the movement she saw that barrel. Thanks for being a such generous ambassadors. I'm inspired to pay it forward!
